Digital Experience Strategist

Connecting Purpose, Accessibility & Performance

I bridge the gap between people and platforms. With accessibility, clarity, and a good dose of empathy, I help organizations create digital experiences that work beautifully for everyone.

So… What exactly do you do?”

  • First and foremost, I’m a writer. Not the tortured-poet kind (though I’ve been known to start a novel or two), but the kind who makes websites work better through clear, inclusive, and optimized content.

You can find my fingerprints all over louisiana.edu or you can read my blog.

  • A big part of my work is turning digital chaos into order one site launch at a time.

Right now, that means coordinating a massive rollout plan for over 100 subsites at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I build content strategies that balance user needs, accessibility standards, and search performance all while managing timelines, expectations, and the occasional existential crisis about button colors.

But strategy doesn’t stop at the website. I collaborate across teams on everything from audience growth initiatives to digital process improvements and cross-channel storytelling plans.

  • I lead a network of hundreds of web ambassadors, (yes, really) a campus-wide community of content managers and communicators who keep our digital presence consistent, accessible, and effective.

My role is equal parts strategist, consultant, and translator between technical requirements and real-world communication goals. I also directly manage our Web Team and oversee the workflows that keep content projects on track and aligned with institutional goals.

  • When I’m not leading web launches or optimizing SEO, you’ll probably find me creating something else photography, woodworking, sewing, bookbinding, or sketching the next DIY project that will take over my weekend.

That curiosity and creativity spill into my work, too. I believe good digital experiences are built with both strategy and soul and I try to bring a little of both to everything I do.

  • I make the internet a little more accessible, a little more human, and a lot more strategic.

If you’re into purpose-driven storytelling, good UX, or just need to talk about how to make your site stop fighting its own users you’re in the right place.
